Softball Pitching & Catching Clinics

UPDATE: This clinic has been moved to Sunday, March 7th.  Open to all ages and experience levels. This is a great opportunity for younger girls that are thinking about pitching and catching. KYBSA is excited to announce softball pitching and catching clinics with two home grown athletes.

Carly Stanich (KHS Varsity Head Coach) will be leading the pitching clinic while Brooke Graham (NPHS Varsity Head Coach) will be heading up the catching clinic.  We are very proud to have such wonderful role models for our local youth. 

The clinics are OPEN to ALL girls in Kingston and surrounding areas, beginners and experienced alike.

  • DATE:  Sunday, March 7, 2021
  • TIME: 2:30-3:30 pitching; 3:30-4:30 catching
  • PLACE:  Kingston Plaza Baseball
  • COST:  $25 ($5 discount to all registered KYBSA players)

Pitchers must bring someone to catch (parent, sibling, friend).
Catchers must bring catcher's gear.

INSTURCTORS

  • Carly (Bilchak) Stanich:  Carly is a graduate of Highland High School, where she was a stand-out two sport athlete.  She made the 2009 MHAL second-team as a freshman and received Daily Freeman honors as a sophomore.
  •  
  • She attended Division I St. Bonaventure (Player Profile) and had 75 appearances with the Bonnies which is 4th all time.  She earned Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll honoree her Senior year.
  •  
  • She is currently the Kingston HS Varsity Head Coach.  She is a Special Educaiton Teacher at Bailey Middle School and actively engaged in supporting and developing youth sports.
  •  
  • Brooke (Frey) Graham:  Brooke is a graduate of new Paltz HS where she was a versatile athlete, earning the MVP award at the 2007 Fast Pitch Nationals.  She was a two-time Mid-Hudson Athletic League selection after her sophomore and senior seasons and was selected as the MHAL Player of the Year her senior year.

  • She attended Division I St. Bonaventure (Player Profile) where she started 135 games and earned Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team her Junior year.
  •  
  • She is currently the New Paltz HS Varsity Head Coach.  She is a Physical Educaiton Teacher for the New Paltz school district and actively engaged in supporting and developing youth sports.
